Furaha Homes Foundation relies on the generosity of our global donors to fund our mission of empowering and transforming orphanages. This policy outlines our terms and procedures for collecting secure donations online.

1. Transaction Security

We prioritize your payment security above all. All transactions are routed through PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant processors. We support:

• Card Payments: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and major international credit/debit cards.
• Mobile Money: Tanzanian mobile wallets including M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money, and Halopesa.

Encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) secure all data transit. We do not store or gain access to your full card number or private security codes.

2. Tax Deductibility & Receipts

Furaha Homes Foundation is a registered charity organization in Tanzania. An official tax-compliant receipt is issued automatically via email for every donation successfully processed on our platform. Donors are advised to consult their local tax accountants to verify deductibility rules in their specific home countries.

3. Refund Policy

Because donations support immediate child welfare and orphanage operations, contributions are generally non-refundable. However, we will review refund requests under the following exceptional conditions:

• A technical glitch resulted in duplicate billing or accidental overcharging.
• The donation was made without the cardholder's authorization (fraudulent use).

Any refund requests must be sent in writing to info@furahahomes.com within 14 business days of the transaction, specifying date, amount, and proof of error. Verified refunds will be returned to the original card or mobile money account used to make the payment.

4. Recurrent Donation Modifications

If you have set up a recurring monthly donation, you can update your donation amount, payment method, or cancel the cycle at any time by logging into your account dashboard or sending an request to info@furahahomes.com.
